The Ruminant Fecal ID™ service uses PCR DNA technology to determine the presence of ruminant-associated fecal contamination. The service targets fecal Bacteroidetes that are found in ruminants.
The Ruminant Fecal ID™ "Quantification" service uses "real-time" quantitative PCR DNA analytical technology to determine the presence and quantification of ruminant-associated fecal contamination. The service targets and quantifies gene biomarkers specific to fecal Bacteroidetes from ruminant sources.
